Cosmeceutical skincare vs Cosmetic skincare – What’s the difference?
A cosmetic product can only be applied to the outer surface of the skin and so it cannot directly treat a specific skin concern (despite what is sometimes written on the packaging!). They often smell incredible and feel amazing on the skin, however, they contain few active ingredients.
In contrast, if you care more about what is in the product and what the product can do for you in terms of results, then cosmeceuticals are the best option for you. The active ingredients in cosmeceuticals are able to pass through the epidermis and act deep within the dermis of the skin.
Skin conditions such as; rosacea, pigmentation, acne, and dry skin can all be improved with cosmeceutical skincare.
Unlike their over-the-counter competitors, cosmeceutical skincare uses active ingredients and minimal nasties to give you the best possible results.

When will I start noticing results?
As a general rule, it takes about 28 days for skin cells to turn over. This is an important factor to keep in mind. It means that almost all products require at least one month of use before you’ll start seeing results. Your patience will be rewarded with better skin.
